My Approach
I join the firm after having completed three judicial clerkships in the Eastern District of New York, first with Chief Magistrate Judge Cheryl L. Pollak, followed by brief terms with Magistrate Judges Steven M. Gold and James R. Cho. My experiences have led me to excel at researching and analyzing complex legal issues. Aside from my strengths as a litigator, and regardless of the situation, I always maintain a calm and positive attitude.
Overview
Prior to his law career, John was an 8th grade science teacher in Hawaii, which taught him both patience and the ability to teach. As a Term Clerk for three Magistrates, including Chief Magistrate Judge Cheryl L. Pollak, John’s skills in drafting orders and opinions, his ability to efficiently conduct legal research and analyze documents, and reliability in assisting the Court in conducting hearings and trials makes him an ideal member of the litigation team at Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna.
