My Approach

As a lawyer with significant experience in complex commercial litigation, I bring critical thinking, problem solving, and dedication to every matter I work on. I use these unique skills to help companies and individuals fight to get made whole for losses they have sustained. These challenges require experience and expertise to solve. It is exciting to be part of such a talented and highly motivated team here at Cohen Ziffer, which works so seamlessly to achieve the best outcome for our clients.

Overview

Lindsay Jakubowitz focuses her practice on insurance recovery litigation, helping to ensure that insurance companies deliver upon the coverage promises they have made. Clients include both individuals, such as board members, and corporations.

Lindsay brings significant experience in complex financial services litigation, representing banking, real estate development, and other corporate clients in a variety of breach of contract actions and other litigation matters. Prior to joining Cohen Ziffer, she was a litigator at a large global firm, as well as at a New York-headquartered firm where she represented individuals and corporations in various business disputes.

In addition to her trial experience, clients and colleagues alike rely upon Lindsay’s strong writing, research skills, as well as her ability to analyze the facts and strategy of a case both critically and creatively. She strives to create and maintain long term relationships with clients, always remembering that their time is just as valuable as her own.

Lindsay also devotes significant time to pro bono matters, such as representing individuals seeking asylum.
