Cohen Ziffer Founding Partners All Included In Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Litigators in America Guide

October 25, 2022·News·less than a minute

New York––October 25, 2022—Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna LLP is pleased to announce that all of the firm’s founding partners have been selected to the first-ever Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide, which recognizes attorneys who excel in representing corporations and other organizations in litigation. The following attorneys were recognized:

  • Robin Cohen
  • Adam Ziffer
  • Kenneth Frenchman
  • Keith McKenna

According to Lawdragon, recognized litigators were selected from a record number of submissions and independent research focused on recent cases and defense verdicts or settlements, as well as attorneys who excelled in trials. The complete Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide can be found here.

Since the firm’s launch in January 2021, Cohen Ziffer has secured multiple groundbreaking rulings on behalf of policyholders, including a $400 million award for New Jersey Transit Corporation over damage sustained in Superstorm Sandy, and a $120 million judgment for Verizon Communications for defense and settlement costs incurred in connection with a bankruptcy trustee’s claims alleging fraudulent conveyances. Cohen Ziffer also recently prevailed against insurers’ efforts to avoid coverage for underlying shareholder litigation under a so-called “bump-up exclusion”—a common provision in D&O policies—that has national implications for policyholders across the country.
