Senior U.S. District Judge James E. Gritzner granted Pella’s motion for partial summary judgment, concluding that, because each of the 15 underlying suits at issue involves a unique set of facts, each one should be treated as a separate accidental occurrence under commercial general liability policies issued by Liberty Mutual. The judge rebuffed the insurer’s bid to have the suits lumped into three or four broad categories.
