Law360: Liberty Mutual Must Cover Faulty-Work Defense, Judge Rules

An Iowa federal judge granted summary judgment to window and door manufacturer Pella Corporation, ruling that Liberty Mutual Insurance must cover Pella’s defense costs in a sample of product liability suits against it, noting that faulty workmanship that gives rise to water damage is indeed a covered “occurrence” under state law.
