With my eye always on clients’ goals and the big picture, I clarify and simplify the intricacies of the law without losing nuance and flag key issues for our clients – this is a critical step in us jointly setting priorities.
Overview
With a passion for delving into the complex laws at the center of litigation, Andrea Jung has a background in insurance, securities and bankruptcy law. She has notable experience in representing policyholders following mergers or acquisitions in their insurance claims related to the breaches of representations and warranties. She brings a great strength to the clients she represents in that she both fully understands the big picture of a client’s case and enjoys digging into the case at its most granular level. Whether researching, writing briefs and witness statements, preparing for hearings, depositions and meetings with clients, Andrea keeps the client’s objectives front and center.
As Andrea looks ahead, she anticipates a key area in insurance law will be greater focus on the “E” in ESG – environmental and climate emergencies and crises – and the various responsibilities of corporate officers and directors.
Beginning her legal career at an AmLaw 20 firm and noted for her desire and ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues, Andrea is fueled by being a key member of a problem-solving team. Her open communication style and ability to synthesize complex laws, facts and ideas, make Andrea an asset to clients and colleagues alike.
Also described by collaborators as highly responsive, thoughtful and practical, Andrea is also committed to pro bono work – which has been a constant in her adult life.
