My Approach

I love serving clients because I enjoy helping people, and I appreciate the diverse and intellectual challenges inherent in practicing law. I’m constantly presented with new issues that essentially require me to become an expert in the subject matter as quickly as possible. I take pride in crafting innovative, high-level strategies that best fit my clients’ needs, goals and priorities.

Overview

With extensive experience in large and complex litigation, Beth Olsen provides counsel in a wide variety of insurance claim cases.

Beth brings a strong work ethic and an enthusiasm to immerse herself in a case’s facts and specifics. She pairs this tenacious attention to details with an ability to simultaneously consider how they fit into the client’s big-picture objectives. Understanding that no issue exists in a vacuum, Beth orchestrates prudent legal responses, including in bet-the-company cases that place existential risks to the client front and center.

By forming close relationships with those she represents, Beth gets to know her clients’ stakeholders, businesses and industries well. She draws on this resulting knowledge of their goals and concerns to guide them around potential pitfalls and help them avoid problems down the road. Although Beth looks for creative ways to address matters, she also maintains a common-sense, practical way of thinking that helps her clients navigate real-world circumstances.

Previously, Beth practiced as an associate at a New York-based global law firm, where she worked on several international matters and gained familiarity with many of the regulatory and taxation considerations that govern legal issues outside the United States.
