My Approach
My legal experience has taught me the utmost importance of creating a sound litigation strategy from the start. Getting the best results requires knowing the client and their organization very well and incorporating their overall business goals into the approach. Then, it’s a matter of making the right moves at the right times.
Overview
Handling a variety of insurance recovery and coverage issues, Robert Maxwell brings outstanding research, analytical and writing skills to his practice.
Robert gained first-hand knowledge of how the judiciary functions by clerking for two Buffalo, N.Y.-based federal judges, U.S. Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder, Jr., and U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr., of the Western District of N.Y. In addition, Robert served as a judicial intern for the N.Y. Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, under Presiding Justice Gerald J. Whalen, also in Buffalo. The positions gave him an in-depth understanding of how to properly address the court in writing and how to present persuasive and effective documents.
With a strong intellectual curiosity and love of learning, Robert particularly enjoys unraveling and resolving complicated issues. In each matter he delves deep to become thoroughly familiar with clients’ industries, companies and cases. He then draws on this knowledge base to serve adeptly and efficiently those he represents.
A lifelong athlete, Robert brings his competitive nature to his practice. He looks forward to continuing to advocate vigorously for his clients and help them resolve problems and take advantage of opportunities.
