My Approach
I have always had a “throw me right in, coach” attitude, which means I am always prepared for what’s next. Confidence in my technical preparation combined with my understanding of the fibers and nuances of our client’s business make up the foundation of what clients can expect from me. Then, along with the diverse points of view I bring, together we discuss strategy and litigation approaches – what makes the most sense for their timing, budget and goals.
Overview
A dynamic advocate, Victoria Salami approaches the law, litigation and a client’s particular problem as a solution seeker. Because of her extensive experience representing Fortune 500 and middle market companies in complex litigation, she sees more than one option to pursue. This keen ability to recognize, for example, that a shift away from litigation and toward a favorable settlement may be the best alternative, enables Victoria and her colleagues to ensure they are always serving the client’s best interests.
Victoria is skilled in leading strategic presentations before company representatives from the legal department to the C-suite and across multiple industries on risk mitigation, regulatory defense and complex commercial matters. She also counsels them on federal and state regulatory compliance. From partnership and corporate conflicts, breach of contract, business torts, consumer fraud, commercial leasing, environmental and insurance policyholder disputes, Victoria is highly experienced representing clients in state, federal and appellate courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as serving them in other jurisdictions.
Being engaging and authentic enables Victoria and her clients to quickly develop the best kind of productive working relationships. She brings a vibrancy that is sought after but often missing in lawyer-client interactions and communication.
Victoria is also committed to pro bono cases and clients and is an advocate for social justice in the workplace.
Previously, Victoria clerked in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and practiced law at a national law firm, where she handled a broad spectrum of complex commercial litigation cases.
