Orrie Levy Recognized as a 2022 Euromoney Rising Star for Insurance

October 12, 2022·Media Coverage·less than a minute

New York––October 12, 2022—Cohen Ziffer Frenchman & McKenna LLP is pleased to announce that partner Orrie Levy has been recognized as a 2022 Euromoney Rising Star for the Insurance & Reinsurance category. He is one of only five attorneys selected nationally in this category this year.

As a former prosecutor and federal law clerk, Orrie brings significant trial and appellate experience to his national insurance recovery practice. With a focus on directors & officers liability insurance, he also handles matters relating to property insurance, professional liability coverage, and indemnification disputes.

Orrie has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance coverage for his clients. In the process, he has obtained pivotal rulings on a wide range of insurance law issues that will impact policyholders for years to come. Most recently, Orrie prevailed against insurers’ efforts to avoid coverage for underlying shareholder litigation under a so-called “bump-up exclusion,” which is a common provision in D&O policies.

Euromoney’s annual Rising Stars award recognizes attorneys who are 40 or younger for their professional accomplishments, advocacy, and influence within their respective fields. The complete list of 2022 Euromoney Rising Stars can be found here.
