Robin Cohen discussed Key Considerations for COVID-19 Insurance Battles in feature interview with AmLaw Litigation Daily

April 16, 2020·News·less than a minute

Robin Cohen was featured in an extensive interview with The AmLaw Litigation Daily that provides a forecast of upcoming COVID-19 insurance battles and key considerations for policyholders.

“The flood of lawsuits won’t happen quite yet—insurers typically require policy holders to follow their claims handling process, and to provide proof of their losses (still a moving target),” Robin explained. “Most property policy carriers will argue [businesses] need to show that the virus caused ‘direct physical loss or damage. There’s going to be a huge debate whether the virus caused a direct physical loss.”
